New Beginnings…The Fool!
Do we rush in, or do we take it step-by-step, slowly surveying the scenery? Taking in what’s around us to gain a measure of security, do we hold ourselves back to ascertain what may or may not be appropriate in this new environment? Tread carefully or gleefully jump in giving no thought for consequence. Do we want to fit in? Or do we want to stand out from the crowd? Do we want to be different, or do we consciously want to join. What is our concept of Unity? Can we bear to be alone? How does isolation feel when there is only our selves False or True, to accompany us on our journey?
Once in, there can be no going back. Only fools rush in, so it’s said. The innocence of the fool, impulsively projecting his view of reality onto the world around him, not thinking for one second there may be another way. Another way, a different way.
A little older, a little wiser with bumps, bruises and god forbid unhealed wounds from a well trodden path, the sage may take their time to think, to contemplate and to intuit. Where do we begin?
